§  Supervise  and ensure the safety of a small group of students to cook the allocated dish of the day

§  Sit and share the food cooked by all students

§  Work cooperatively with the Convenor and other volunteers in the program 

§  Work with the school to ensure that the needs of the clients are being met 

§  Support the learning needs of children involved in the program principally by assisting them with their weekly homework

July - December 2010: Australian Red Cross – Yconnect Homework Club

§   Support and work cooperatively with the homework club volunteers in the program

§   Work with the homework club teacher/supervisor to ensure clients’ needs are being met

§   Provide healthy snacks for clients/maintain petty cash for purchase of snacks
